REMOTE Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer who is passionate about creating accessible digital systems. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing technology that enhances usability for individuals with disabilities.

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of our client's dynamic team, contributing to the development of their innovative technology platform. Your responsibilities will include:

• Writing high-quality code with a focus on accessibility, test coverage, and scalability
• Participating as an active member of an Agile scrum team, driving the delivery of work
• Minimum qualifications for this role include:
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience with full-stack web development, preferably with the MEAN stack
• Knowledge or willingness to learn our tech-stack: TypeScript, HTML, SASS, Angular, NodeJS, Express, MongoDB, Rabbit
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and listen attentively to the needs and experiences of others
• Additional experiences that will be considered a plus include:
• Experience using Git / GitFlow / Bitbucket, Jira & Confluence, Webpack, Rollup, Jasmine, Puppeteer, TSLint/ESLint, Docker, K8S, AWS, Terraform
• Knowledge of Web Application Security / OWASP best practices
• Experience with accessible web design including Section 508 and WCAG
• Prior experience building scalable applications for the cloud
