User Interface Software Engineer

We’re looking to hire a User Interface Software Engineer for a leading financial information and analytics company. You’ll join the Agile Development team to design and implement cutting-edge user interfaces for internal cloud-based platforms. This is a 6-month opportunity. The role is located in the NYC metro area, and is fully remote, operating on EST or CST hours.

User Interface Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex Single Page Applications (SPA) using Vue 3.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs.
• Implement UI/UX design systems and establish standards for the team.
• Render big data grids and create data visualizations, preferably using AG-grid and AG-charts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint goals.

User Interface Software Engineer Requirements:

• 8+ years of diverse software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and Python.
• Strong expertise in Vue 3 with recent project experience.
• Familiarity with back-end systems and REST API development, preferably using Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases and Python app servers such as Flask or FastAPI.
• AWS Cloud services development experience, including Docker, ECS, S3, and Redis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
