Accounts Receivable Analyst

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Accounts Receivable Analyst for a Luxury brand client.

This is a 3-5 month contract opportunity. The role is located in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ and is fully on-site.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Accountant to support our accounting team. This temporary role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring product cost data integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Maintain and update product cost data.
• Assist with inventory counts, variance analysis, and month-end closing.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies with the operations team.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in inventory accounting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and inventory management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred: Experience in manufacturing or distribution.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
