Job Description

  • Monitoring and administration of ECN systems
  • Reporting hardware failures
  • Planning, testing and performing tasks on the systems infrastructure of the ECN-related changes like installing, configuring, tuning, patching, and upgrading both hardware and software
  • Upgrade Software, Hardware and Firmware
  • Test new versions of software, releases and configurations
  • Troubleshooting and solving of any reported incidents and problems
  • Production and maintenance of documentation for daily operations, e.g. standard operational procedures, checklists, workflows and diagrams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • Linux Administration Certification (LPIC-1, RHCSA or other relevant)
  • Presents excellent command of English, at least at B2 level
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience relevant to the job
  • Hands-on experience in Linux systems administration, network, security and systems in Open Source Software
  • Hands-on experience in relational database administration
  • Hands-on experience in administering virtual infrastructures (Vmware technologies)
  • Hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and administering of open source monitoring systems
  • Hands-on experience in working with Ansible - creating/modifying/executing playbooks
  • Hands-on experience in the administration of Ubuntu systems, RedHat systems, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Jackrabbit technologies
  • Hands-on experience providing 2nd line IT support – delivering, supporting and maintaining end users' workstation environment
  • Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting, preferably in relation to large-scale distributed systems
  • Solid scripting skills
