As a member of the IGT PlayDigital team, you’ll work with experts on exciting projects that push the boundaries of iGaming content and technology, while contributing your knowledge and skills to the newest and fastest growing segment of the company.  This is a remote from home position.
 

Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed System Engineer to join IGT Play Digital's global iGaming infrastructure team. In this role, you will architect and implement high-performance, secure solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments using innovative technologies. You'll navigate the dynamic environment of our hybrid cloud platform, improving scalability and efficiency while ensuring seamless uptime for players worldwide. 


Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain installations of Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, and Linux systems.
  • Use AWS cloud services for on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
  • Lead and optimize VMware virtualized environments.
  • Fix and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams in an international setting.
  • Implement standard processes for system security and performance.

Requirements

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

  • 8+ years of in-depth knowledge and working experience with Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, and Linux systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Previous hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience in working with key automation tools, including Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins, and Ansible
  • Proficiency in major monitoring systems such as Nagios, Grafana, and Kibana is crucial for this role.
  • Ability to handle and maintain on-premise and AWS cloud installations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to solve complex issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a global and diverse team.


Preferred Education and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or equivalent.
  • Technical certification a plus.
  • VMware experience a plus.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $38,281-$156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
