Social Media Strategist

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Social Media team to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our overall marketing goals.  This is a 12 – month contract + extension. The team is located in California, and the role is fully remote.
 
Social Media Strategist Responsibilities: 

• Produce high-quality, engaging content (text, video, and visual) tailored to our target audience on platforms like X, Warpcast, Discord, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Foster a vibrant community by actively engaging with our audience, responding to comments, and participating in relevant discussions.
• Execute targeted social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive user acquisition, and foster community growth.
• Track and analyze key metrics to measure campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize our strategy.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering, etc.) to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated efforts.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation.

Social Media Strategist Requirements: 

• 3-5+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the tech or developer space.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their nuances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create compelling content that resonates with a technical audience.
• Experience with social media analytics tools.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with developer tools or APIs.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain concepts.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
