Job Description

The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team at Microsoft seeks a Partner Solution Sales resource for Bizz Apps. Responsibilities include developing and executing a Partner Solution Sales and Territory plan, driving sales through partner-led and co-sell initiatives to achieve quarterly Financial Revenue Attainment (FRA), and coaching partners on solution area value. This role requires driving large-scale sales execution, leveraging solution expertise and business acumen for month-on-month and quarter-on-quarter revenue impact. Success involves skilling in the Solution Area, executing across the Microsoft Customer Execution Model, and creating a well-designed Solution Area plan. Continuous career development through training is encouraged. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in IT-related industry sales, partner channel sales, and professional coaching/mentoring.

Overview

The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.

As a Partner Solution Sales resource, your responsibilities will be to develop and execute a Partner Solution Sales and Territory plan with partners. You will be expected to drive sales through both partner-led and co-sell initiatives to achieve quarterly Financial Revenue Attainment (FRA).

As a Leader of Solution Area Sales for Bizz Apps, your role involves driving your partner's sales execution at a large scale. Your deep solution area expertise and business acumen will be leveraged to drive revenue impact month-on-month and quarter-on-quarter. Success in your role will be achieved through skilling in the Solution Area and executing across the Microsoft Customer Execution Model. You will be responsible for creating and executing a well-designed Solution Area focused plan. Additionally, you will actively seek to enhance your career path through recommended and additional training.

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Informatics), Business/Economics (Sales), or related field AND 10+ years experience in information technology (IT)-related industry sales, the partner channel sales and professional coaching/mentoring OR equivalent experience 

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Informatics), Business/Economics (Sales), or related field AND 8+ years experience in information technology (IT)-related industry sales, the partner channel sales and professional coaching/mentoring
      • OR equivalent experience
    • Workload Fundamental Certification.
    • 10+ years complex consultative or solutions selling experience
    • Saas ISV backgrounds are plus+

 

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Partner Solution Sales and Territory plan with assigned partners through both partner-led and co-sell to achieve quarterly FRA .

Leverage investment to drive pipeline velocity in MCEM 1-3

•CSA revenue Accountability QoQ  

•Own CSA revenue forecast for their portfolio of assigned  partners 

Coach solution area value to assigned partners; secure partner commitment for further solution sales practice acceleration to increase share of wallet
