Sporty seeks a Commercial Talent Acquisition Specialist to support international business needs in South Africa. Responsibilities include managing recruitment pipelines, sourcing and engaging top-tier talent for Marketing, Business Development, Finance, and Operations roles, managing the full recruitment lifecycle (sourcing to offer negotiation), crafting compelling job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience recruiting Marketing and Business Development roles, preferably in tech-focused organizations, with experience in the iGaming industry being highly desirable. Strong pitching and closing skills, LinkedIn sourcing expertise, and excellent communication are essential.

Commercial Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: South Africa
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Talent team in South Africa. Working alongside the Commercial Talent Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting international business needs while managing pipeline growth and the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for roles across Marketing, Business Development, Finance, and Operations.
This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact, develop your expertise, and define your career path within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
•Pipeline Ownership: Take full ownership of your recruitment pipelines, ensuring high-quality delivery and relationship management.
•Talent Sourcing: Search, identify, attract, and engage top-tier talent for specific roles.
•End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire hiring process, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and closing.
•Pitching & Closing: Showcase strong pitching and closing skills to secure top candidates.
•ATS Management: Maintain accurate and efficient records in the Applicant Tracking System.
•Interview Coordination: Flawlessly coordinate interviews across multiple time zones.
•Job Marketing: Craft and post compelling job descriptions on internal job boards, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
•Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with the People Operations team for seamless offer handovers.
•Candidate Experience: Deliver a world-class experience for all candidates, ensuring professionalism and engagement throughout.
What We’re Looking For
•Experience:
•2+ years of experience recruiting Marketing and Business Development roles, preferably within tech-focused organizations.
•Experience in the iGaming industry is highly desirable.
•Proven ability to manage full recruitment lifecycles from qualification to close.
•Successful track record sourcing diverse talent across Commercial roles.
•Skills & Expertise:
•Demonstrable expertise in pitching and closing KPI-driven roles.
•Skilled in managing inbound and outbound talent pipelines.
•Recent experience sourcing on LinkedIn with strong conversion-to-hire metrics.
•Experience working with Senior and C-Level stakeholders.
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
•Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competitive timelines in a fast-paced environment.
•A high-performance mindset, working efficiently and effectively (80:20 principle).
•Personal Attributes:
•Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
•Based in South Africa and able to accommodate global collaboration needs.
