Job Description

As a Technical Project Manager at Sporty, you'll oversee project scope, timelines, and team productivity for a high-traffic sports betting website. Responsibilities include presenting project plans to stakeholders, managing project scope and risk, removing blockers, coordinating with technical teams and QA, and ensuring alignment with business goals. You'll work in an Agile environment, leveraging your AWS cloud knowledge to keep projects on track and teams productive. Daily interaction with internal and external development partners is crucial, along with fostering collaboration and communication across teams. The role demands strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills within a fast-paced, results-oriented setting.

Our Tech Project Manager oversees project scope, timelines, and team productivity, ensuring alignment with business goals. Remove blockers, mitigate risks, and coordinate with technical teams, stakeholders, and QA. With strong Agile expertise and cloud knowledge (AWS), you'll keep projects on track and teams productive.

Responsibilities

Present project plans, timelines, and progress to stakeholders. Deliver weekly and monthly task reports.
Manage project scope, aligning goals with business objectives and ensuring efficient, cost-effective delivery processes.
Remove external blockers to facilitate team progress and achieve effective project milestones. Control scope and mitigate risks.
Coordinate with technical resources, engaging in discussions with the Senior Leadership Team.
Interact daily with internal and external development partners, clarifying requirements and driving development in an agile environment. Foster collaboration and communication across teams.
Engage with the internal QA team, ensuring features are delivered as expected, including user-acceptance testing of new developments.
Lead collaborative, dynamic planning, prioritizing work against capacity. Track and enhance team productivity.

Requirements

Fluent in written and spoken English.
Complete understanding of technical architecture and system design, including knowledge of infrastructure and cloud services (such as AWS).
Agile qualification is preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple teams within an Agile framework.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge and experience working with agile delivery methods.
Preferred experience in cross regions / async management.
