Full-Stack Software Engineer

You’ll join the Product Engineering team to develop and enhance web-based learning tools that provide seamless and engaging experiences for educators and students. This is a full-time opportunity. The role is 100% remote.

Full-Stack Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance web-based learning tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and marketing teams to create products that customers love.
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from technical design to development and testing.
• Implement and monitor cloud-based infrastructure using observability platforms.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of applications through cloud-native development.
• Work in various layers of the software stack, including front-end, back-end, and database development.
• Take ownership of the quality, performance, and maintainability of the codebase.

Full-Stack Software Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in:
• Java and Spring Framework
• Angular for front-end development
• RESTful Services
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• AWS services for cloud-native applications
• Docker/Containerization
• Databases and Distributed Caching
• Tomcat and application server management
• Observability tools for system monitoring
• Experience with Terraform is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for learning new technologies.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week, and the length of the assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
