We are seeking a talented Senior Recruiter for a growing Mobile Game Studio based in Los Angeles. As a Senior Recruiter, you will be integral to driving the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding, focusing on optimizing processes, improving performance metrics, and creating a seamless candidate experience. You’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers, contribute to office operations, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent acquisition at a leading mobile game studio. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with hours from 9 AM to 6 PM PST.
Location: Hybrid (Los Angeles, CA) – 1-2 days onsite per week, candidates within a 4-hour driving radius of Santa Monica are encouraged to apply as well.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the entire recruitment process, ensuring process optimization, system automation, and an exceptional candidate experience.
- Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Track recruitment KPIs (e.g., time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, quality of hire) and use insights to enhance recruitment outcomes.
- Employer Branding & Industry Positioning: Strengthen the studio’s brand as a top employer in the gaming industry by showcasing products and values during candidate outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships.
- Candidate Experience & Communication: Ensure a positive, seamless candidate journey from initial contact to onboarding, maintaining timely and value-driven communication at every stage.
- Hiring Manager Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide training on interview best practices.
- Technology Optimization: Lead the charge in optimizing recruitment tools and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), ensuring efficient sourcing and interview processes.
- Talent Pipeline Strategy: Develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy to attract top candidates, ensuring a strong pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
- Collaboration Across Functions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company’s evolving recruitment needs.
- Office Operations Support: Support office management activities, such as budgeting, vendor coordination, supply stocking, kitchen management, and building liaison duties.
- Reporting & Improvement: Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and identify areas for growth and strategy improvement.
- Adaptability & Process Refinement: Continuously refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness over time.
Requirements:
- Degree & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience & Background: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in talent acquisition, particularly in gaming, tech, or entertainment sectors.
- Full-Cycle Recruitment Expertise: Experience managing the full recruitment process, including employer branding, talent analytics, and reporting.
- Technical Recruitment Skills: Proficiency in sourcing specialized technical talent for roles like engineering, product management, data, and UI/UX.
- Communication & Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, build relationships, and collaborate across teams.
- Problem-Solving & Process Improvement: Analytical thinker with a focus on improving recruitment processes and outcomes.
- Industry Knowledge & Market Practices: Familiarity with modern recruitment strategies, including data-driven decision-making and sourcing tools.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership: Proven success working with hiring managers and team members to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals.
- Adaptability & Agility: Ability to tackle complex challenges and adapt to the needs of a growing business environment.
- Office Operations & Support: Initiative to contribute to office operations and ensure a smooth-running workplace environment.
