Summary

The Wealth Management IT support team seeks a L2/L3 Support Analyst for a project integrating external tools into the bank's environment. Responsibilities include application production support, collaborating with internal/external stakeholders, root cause analysis, solution implementation, managing events (BCP tests, infrastructure changes), system monitoring, incident/problem management (ITIL), acting as a production environment gatekeeper, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high-quality services. The role requires close work with the vendor providing the product over the next few years and necessitates working outside scheduled hours as needed.
Must have:
  • ITIL incident/problem management
  • Solid Windows knowledge
  • Relational database knowledge (MSSQL, Sybase, Oracle)
  • 5+ years production experience on Windows
  • Middleware platform knowledge (MQ, IIS, tomcat)
  • Production system monitoring experience

Your team
You'll be working in the Wealth Management IT support team. Our team provides application production support and works closely with the application development team as well as global infrastructure teams.

Project:
Integration of external tools for Wealth Management services to bank's environment. We are looking for a L2\L3 Support Analyst who can closely work with internal stakeholders and to be closely working with the vendor who will be delivering a product for next couple of years.

Responsibilities

Be a part of our Business Application Maintenance Team

Interact with business stakeholders, conduct root cause analysis with the relevant IT streams, define and coordinate the implementation of solutions

Coordinate with different internal and external parties to conduct and manage special events such as BCP tests, infrastructure change weekends, data Centre maintenance

Promote the overall stability of the systems through system monitoring and implementation of best practices

Incident and problem management according to ITIL standards and uphold high standards for timely issue resolution.

Act as a strong gatekeeper to the production environment and assess change impact, risk, and performance.

Mentor junior team members to provide high quality application services

Willing to work outside scheduled hours and on weekends

Skills

Must have

Knowledge of ITIL incident and problem management

Solid Windows knowledge and Linux knowledge are a plus. 5 years+

Basic knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, Sybase, Oracle)

5+ years of experience within a Production environment hosted on Windows

Basic operational knowledge of Middleware platforms (MQ, IIS, tomcat)

Experience in production system monitoring and scheduling concepts

Capable of understanding client / end-user issues and translating them into problem statements for further investigations within IT

Nice to have

Confident communicator who can explain technology to non-technical audiences

Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Ability to support and deliver a high-quality service to stakeholders

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple, concurrent/conflicting priorities.

Self-driven, highly motivated and have very high standards concerning quality of service delivered and attention to detail

Comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment
