Job Description

As a Field Service Technician at Tesla, you'll be crucial in maintaining the optimal performance of renewable energy storage products and Superchargers. Your daily tasks involve traveling to various sites across Denmark to perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshoot and repair issues, and handle commissioning activities. This role requires expertise in electrical engineering, particularly low- and medium-voltage systems (high-voltage experience is a plus). You'll be the primary contact for contractors, conduct root-cause analysis, prevent recurring problems, and provide feedback to engineering teams. Organizational skills are essential for planning and managing your own workload. The position demands excellent communication, independent work habits, a proactive attitude, and flexibility for travel. Fluency in Danish and good English is needed, along with an EU passport or work permit.

Must have:

Experience as an electrical technician
Low/Medium voltage systems experience
Troubleshooting and repair skills
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and independent work style
Fluency in Danish and English

Good to have:

High Voltage systems experience

What to Expect

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Denmark. What You’ll Do

Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Aarhus and abroad when needed
Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
Stakeholder managment: act as the first point of contact to contractors
Prevent recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
Organizational tasks, like preparing, organizing, and planning your own technical activities

What You’ll Bring

Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
A passion for renewable energy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
Flexible towards travelling
Fluency in Danish and a good command of English
An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
