We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter based in the UK who is adept at hiring across various technical disciplines and has specific experience working with Employer of Record (EOR) services. In this role, you will drive full-cycle recruiting, partner closely with hiring managers, and work collaboratively across regions to meet our company’s growth goals. This position is key to ensuring a seamless recruitment experience for candidates in expanding our international workforce

Expectations for Success
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage and execute end-to-end recruitment for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • EOR Collaboration: Partner with Employer of Record (EOR) services to ensure seamless hiring, onboarding, and management of contractors or employees where we don’t have an entity established.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and teams to deeply understand technical needs, team dynamics, and project priorities, providing strategic recruitment insights and support.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source diverse talent across multiple channels, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques, networks, and online platforms.
  • Candidate Experience: Create an exceptional candidate experience, representing Ookla’s brand and values at every stage of the hiring process.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine and improve recruiting processes to ensure efficiency, diversity, and scalability, particularly for a distributed, global team.

  • Experience: 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in senior-level roles. Experience working with or managing EOR services is required.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven success in recruiting for various technical roles (e.g., software engineers, data scientists, DevOps, and infrastructure roles) across diverse geographies.
  • Knowledge of EOR Services: Strong understanding of the EOR model and how to work effectively with EOR partners for seamless onboarding and compliance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data-Driven: Ability to use metrics and analytics to guide recruitment decisions and improve processes.
  • Adaptable: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adjust strategies to meet changing hiring needs.
  • Remote Experience: Comfortable working in a remote-first environment and adept at using remote collaboration tools.

We are open to this position being remote elsewhere in the UK or Dublin. If remote, this role will involve occasional travel to our offices (following safe travel guidelines).
