Summary

Onward Search is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist for a leading nonprofit healthcare organization in Rochester, MN. This is a 7-12 month contract opportunity with fully remote flexibility. The role involves providing strategic marketing consultation, partnering with marketing managers to drive campaigns, leading competitive assessments, managing projects, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Responsibilities include leveraging data and analytics, marketing automation, data analysis, trend identification, managing digital/advertising channels, and driving functional strategies to support the client's goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, along with expertise in digital marketing tools (Adobe products a plus). Experience with SEO and tracking marketing campaign ROI is preferred.

We’re currently seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist for a leading nonprofit healthcare organization based in Rochester, MN, offering a 7-12 month contract opportunity with fully remote flexibility.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Marketing team focused on driving data-driven campaigns and leveraging analytics to support organizational goals. As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you’ll be an integral part of advancing our client’s mission through strategic marketing initiatives, including advertising, digital marketing, content creation, and event management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic marketing consultation and guidance to internal clients on how to leverage data and analytics in their marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Marketing Managers and Directors to drive, monitor, and measure the results of various marketing activities.
  • Lead competitive landscape assessments and offer strategic recommendations.
  • Manage projects through the entire project life cycle, ensuring successful execution from planning to implementation.
  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including colleagues and leadership teams.
  • Drive functional strategies forward to support the client’s strategic plan and business goals.
  • Adapt to changes and continuously seek opportunities for improvement in processes and relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven experience with data analytics, reporting, and digital marketing tools (experience with Adobe products, including CJA/Analytics, is a plus).
  • Deep knowledge of marketing strategies and how they are effectively implemented.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise in marketing automation, data analysis, trend identification, and managing digital/advertising channels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to educate and influence others.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 3+ years of professional experience in marketing.
  • Previous experience setting up and managing SEO and tracking marketing campaign ROI is preferred.

To qualify for benefits, candidates must work over 30 hours per week and have an assignment length of at least 10 weeks.
