📍 Location: We are open to candidates on a hybrid or remote basis. Our hubs are in Austin,TX, Albany, NY, Cardiff, UK & Brighton UK.
🌎 This role requires international travel.

Rocket Science is a global games services company specializing in game co-development, porting, and full-cycle game development. With offices in Albany, NY, Cardiff, and Brighton, Rocket Science collaborates with world-class studios to deliver cutting-edge gaming experiences. About the Role:

The Global Head of Sales will be responsible for defining and executing Rocket Science's global sales strategy, overseeing international business development efforts, and driving revenue growth. This leader will focus on expanding Rocket Science’s presence in key markets, building client relationships, and fostering collaboration across our global sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with company goals.

    • Lead, manage, and inspire the global sales team to achieve and surpass revenue targets.

    • Identify, prioritize, and enter new market opportunities in the gaming industry.

  • Revenue Growth:

    • Drive revenue through strategic initiatives, market penetration, and expanding partnerships.

    • Work closely with executive leadership to set sales targets and align them with overall business growth.

  • Market Expansion:

    • Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities and trends.

    • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to create and implement go-to-market strategies for different regions.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team across multiple regions.

    • Set individual and team KPIs, manage performance, and offer guidance to ensure targets are met.

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners and clients.

    • Act as a key ambassador for Rocket Science in the global gaming industry.

  • Reporting & Data Analysis:

    • Report on sales performance, market trends, and key metrics to the executive team.

    • Use data analytics to drive decision-making and optimize the sales process.

What we value:

  • Experience:

    • 10+ years in sales leadership, with a track record of success in global sales (preferably within the gaming or technology sector).

    • Proven ability to drive business growth and lead high-performing sales teams.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and market expansion abilities.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and thrive in global markets.

    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge:

    • Deep understanding of the gaming industry and market dynamics.

    • Ability to use data and insights to inform strategy and sales processes.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
