Summary

The Associate Manager, Data & Analytics will develop analytics applications to identify trends in music consumption. Responsibilities include collecting data from global databases (Google Cloud), building queries, dashboards, and routines; generating code to acquire external data via APIs or web scraping; developing and maintaining software; producing documentation; and collaborating with data engineering and governance teams. The ideal candidate will have a BA in a relevant field (computer science, etc.), 0-2 years of experience (preferably in entertainment), proficiency in SQL and multiple programming languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.), experience with visualization libraries and Cloud Computing Services (Google Cloud preferred), and fluency in Spanish.

The Associate Manager, Data Analytics position reports to the Data & Analytics Director and is focused on developing analytics applications for identifying trends, events and behaviors in music consumption.

The candidate will be in charge of creating enriched coding, ETL processes and software to provide products for the data, commercial and marketing teams use. The key responsibilities will be:

How You'll Create:

  • Collect information from the company's global databases (Google Cloud), build necessary queries, views, dashboards and/or routines.

  • Generate code to acquire external data using APIs or web scraping from digital platforms and social networks.

  • Develop, maintain and enhance the backend and frontend of software to meet stakeholders needs.

  • Produce ad-hoc documentation of all products for collaboration and code reutilization.

  • Interact with data engineering and governance teams to leverage company’s technological infrastructure and follow best practices.

Bring Your Vibe:

  • BA in computer science, information systems, software engineering, applied mathematics or alike.

  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar position preferably in the entertainment/music business.

  • Proficient with SQL and in more than one programming languages (Java Script, Python, HTML/CSS, R, etc.)

  • Experience utilizing more than one visualization libraries/tools (Seaborn, ggplot2, Rshiny / Looker, Domo, Power Bi, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing Services (Google or AWS or Azure)

  • Comfortable with code versioning tools such as Git

  • Fluent Spanish proficiency; speak, read, and write
