Job Description

This internship at Universal Music Group's Fame House focuses on Merchandise & Retail, specifically supporting store management. Responsibilities include assisting store managers with project management for e-commerce stores, setting up and maintaining store environments, updating product information, monitoring shipping rates, coordinating restocks, working with account managers and fulfillment partners to ensure efficient customer experiences, managing inventory, and assisting with logistics and warehouse management. The intern will also create periodic reports, make recommendations to drive revenue, and ideate merchandise with marketing teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Program Eligibility:

Currently enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college/university in the United States, pursing an undergraduate, graduate and/or law degree
Graduating between Spring 2025 - Fall 2027
Have access to housing and transportation within the designated city (We do not offer housing accommodations)
Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future (e.g., H1-B, OPT, etc.)
Commit to 20 - 40 hours per week (based on individual business area)

Fame House: Store Management (onsite PA):

How You’ll CREATE:

Assist Store Managers with project management for ecommerce stores
Assist Store Managers in setting up & maintaining store environments
Lead management on stores as needed
Update products, descriptions, images, and other customer-facing information to ensure the store front end functionality is optimized
Handle one-off platform updates to shops
Monitor shipping rates for accuracy
Assist Store Managers by coordinating product restocks
Work with Account Managers to make sure all details needed concerning new launches and stores are received in a timely manner from clients
Assist with managing inventory levels and inventory reporting
Manage comp shipment requests
Assist with logistics and warehouse management
Work with fulfilment partners and customer service team to provide efficient customer experiences • Conduct periodic reports for clients as needed
Assist with using sales reports to make recommendations to drive revenue for clients
Work with marketing account teams to ideate and create unique, topical merchandise for clientele
