Job Description
Xsolla seeks a proactive Senior Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, assembling audit packages, supporting internal/external audits, preparing consolidated accounts and investor reporting, defining/executing internal controls, performing month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing procedures, financial analysis and reporting, and recommending process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional organizational skills, and experience with month-end close, financial report preparation, and tax preparation. Experience with large ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills are required. The role involves collaboration with international teams and requires excellent communication skills.
Must have:
- CPA (or in process)
- 4+ years public accounting experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare standard and non-standard journal entries with emphasis on gaining efficiencies and process improvements
- Assemble audit packages
- Support annual internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, and financial statements
- Responsible for preparing consolidated accounts and investor reporting for investment funds
- Help define, document, and execute proper internal controls for accounting functions
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures and prepare respective financial reports, including reconciliations of various G/L accounts
- Responsible for appropriate month- and quarter-end accruals
- Perform financial analysis and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
- Recommend improvements to current accounting processes to enhance and streamline the department
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary
- Collaborate with international teams to streamline monthly reporting
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- CPA (or in process of obtaining CPA)
- 4+ years of public accounting or related experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, regulatory reporting requirements, account analysis, and accounting policy
- Large ERP system experience (we use NetSuite) as well as advanced ability in Excel
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively both individually and as a team
- Quick learner and problem solver when faced with new issues or challenges
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task
- Fosters teamwork across the organization with excellent communication skills
- Ability to build partnerships and work in a collaborative global environment
- Passion for driving and delivering results and delivering constructive change
