The Risk & Lessons Learned Manager (m/f/d) will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and mitigating risks across the EMEA region. You will work closely with project teams to identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing lessons learned from completed projects to enhance future initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of project risk management, business improvement techniques, and lessons learned methodology. You will be responsible for facilitating the collection, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of project-related risks, managing the EMEA risk and opportunity register, and preparing risk and opportunity reports. You will also be involved in the collection and processing of project lessons learned, driving the continuous improvement of the EMEA Lessons Learned Program, and conducting workshops to identify and assess risks and capture lessons learned.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience in project risk and opportunity management
  • Knowledge of ISO 31000 or OENORM D 490x:2021
  • Strong knowledge of business improvement techniques
  • Experience in project execution
  • Fluent in English & German language
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and carefully
  • Willingness to travel
Good to have:
  • Experience in similar position within manufacturing, engineering
  • Other European languages
  • Experience in business, and/or lessons learned methodology

The Risk & Lessons Learned Manager (m/f/d) will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and mitigating risks across the EMEA region. This individual will work closely with project teams to identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, they will be responsible for implementing lessons learned from completed projects to enhance future initiatives.

Your responsibilities:

Risk Management:
·        Facilitate the collection, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of project-related risks.
·        Manage the EMEA risk and opportunity register and track mitigation measures.
·        Liaise with stakeholders to ensure the risk and opportunity profiles and register remain updated.
·        Prepare risk and opportunity reports on a BU and EMEA level.

Lessons Learned:
·        Facilitate the collection and processing of all types of project lessons learned, including adjustments to the risk assessment program.
·        Drive the continuous improvement of the EMEA Lessons Learned Program.
General:
·        Contribute to the development and implementation of the Fluence R&O and Fluence Lessons Learned Program.
·        Conduct workshops at defined project milestones to identify and assess risks and capture lessons learned.
·        Provide risk management and lessons learned-related trainings.
·        Promote a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and risk awareness within the EMEA region.
 
Your skills:
·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, quality management).
·        Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position  within manu-facturing, engineering, or a related industry.
·        Experience in project risk and opportunity management with knowledge of ISO 31000 or OENORM D 490x:2021 preferred.
·        Strong knowledge of business improvement techniques, tools, and methodologies (e.g., SPC, root cause analysis).
·        Experience in project execution, business, and/or lessons learned methodology is advantageous.
·        Fluent in English & German language, other European languages are a plus
·        Proficiency in MS Office
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·        Ability to work independently and carefully
·        Willingness to travel
