We're looking for a Lead Technical Artist to join us in this pursuit of excellence and guide our talented team to new heights. If you are a visionary technical artist who thrives on solving complex challenges and elevating artistic performance, we would love to see you lead our team to set the next standard in immersive gaming experiences.

What is your MISSION?

  • Lead and mentor a team of technical artists, serving as the primary bridge between the art and programming departments.
  • Oversee and guide the creation of technical art solutions, balancing visual quality, performance, and efficiency across the entire project.
  • Work closely with the Art Director and project leads to establish and maintain a high artistic and technical standard.
  • Develop and optimize workflows, tools, and pipelines to support the entire art team, from environment design to VFX.
  • Master Unreal Engine’s technical capabilities, leading innovations to push the boundaries of what's possible in real-time graphics.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical challenges, providing strategic solutions to remove blockers and maintain high performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and artists to optimize game performance.


Who will FIT IN with us?

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5, with at least one full game production cycle as a Senior or Lead Technical Artist.
  • Deep understanding of performance optimization techniques, particularly in high-end real-time graphics.
  • Experience with procedural content generation, VFX, lighting, and shader creation.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard tools.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with proven experience in leading.
  • Mastery of the Unreal Engine art pipeline, materials, and shaders.
  • Passion for pushing Unreal Engine to its limits to achieve groundbreaking visual quality.
  • Deep understanding of PBR workflows and advanced material editor practices.
  • It is mandatory to be based in Brno, so you must be willing to move. We can, of course, provide you with relocation support.
