<section aria-labelledby="job-description-title" class="styles--3vx-H" data-ui="job-description"><h2 id="job-description-title">Description</h2><div><p><strong>What we are looking for:</strong></p><p></p><p>We are seeking an Outsource Character Artist to collaborate closely with both internal and external teams on Character Assets for Cosmetics. In this role, you will work with the producer on scheduling, coordinate with the internal development team to meet project needs and manage the delivery of assets from external vendors. The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for external partners and must be extremely nimble, with strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to varying time schedules, evolving project needs, and non-traditional hours across different time zones. While the role includes managerial responsibilities, it is also hands-on, involving the intake and assessment of assets to ensure they meet the required standards. Additionally, you will provide valuable feedback on art assets from outsource to maintain quality and consistency throughout the project.</p></div></section><section aria-labelledby="job-requirements-title" class="styles--3vx-H" data-ui="job-requirements"><h2 id="job-requirements-title">Requirements</h2><div><p></p><p><strong>What we will do together:</strong></p><ul> <li>Direct and implement high-quality AAA VFX to support gameplay-driven VFX cosmetics for characters and items. </li> <li>Establish visual direction and technical guidelines/constraints with directors and the VFX team, analyse and provide feedback to improve the artistic quality/technical performance of outsourced VFX assets. </li> <li>Provide feedback and guide other VFX artists from outsourcing teams in executing VFX through our cosmetics to ensure consistency with the project's art direction, visual style and tone of the game.</li> <li>Train and unblock outsourcing partners, provide best practices/samples, and support production schedules.</li> <li>Generate answers quickly to resolve ambiguity, and champion for best sustainable practices.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p><ul> <li>Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Unreal Niagara/Blueprint, Substance Designer, Maya, 3ds Max, Embergen and/or Houdini. Autodesk Flow Production Tracking and Confluence are required.</li> <li>Attention to detail and clear organizational skills.
