Junior Associate to Audit (Astana)

Job Description & Summary

A career within External Audit services, will provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities. Our clients are often well known brands and many have broad international reach. We focus on using the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring you’ll focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of our clients’ information.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Start date is in December 2024;
• Play an integral role as a professional in PwC core assurance services
  provided to clients.
• Participate in all phases of a financial statement audit and audit of banks
• Participate in internal controls audits by inspecting control processes and
  determining accuracy of information and compliance with laws,
  regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles.

Knowledge and skills required:

• High education in accounting, finance, economics, science, technology, engineering or math;
• GPA: 3,3 ( 4,33) and 3,0 (4) and higher;
• Knowledge of IFRS and Kazakhstani standards of Accounting will be an advantage;
• Ability to work full-time
• Flexibility to travel
• Extensive computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Excellent working knowledge of English language: both verbal and written
• Proven team player with good communication skills
• Stress resistance;
• Strong career commitment
• Work experience is not required, but would be a plus
