The Staff Technology Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the administration of Life.Church Human Resource Information Systems(HRIS), ensuring accurate and timely processing of staff transactions and system configurations. This role will collaborate with the Staff Technology Director to provide HRIS technical support to Life.Church staff and leaders. The Staff Technology Specialist utilizes their skillset to deliver outcomes that align with the direction of their team to further Life.Church’s mission and to reach people for Christ.

What You’ll Do

    • Administer daily processes in Life.Church HRIS systems.
    • Process all staff-related workflows, including but not limited to onboarding, staff changes, and terminations, within the HRIS in accordance with payroll deadlines.
    • Oversee user permissions, access settings, personalization, and related system configurations.
    • Proactively identify and resolve issues to optimize the HRIS use and enhance the user experience.
    • Partner with Staff Technology Director to ensure timely payment of HRIS invoices, when needed.
    • Participate in HRIS webinars and partnership calls with HRIS system representatives
    • Provide HRIS Technical Support to Life.Church staff.
    • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to the key stakeholders, including Life.Church staff, team leaders, and the Staff Operations Group.
    • Collaborate with the Staff Technology Director on organizational requests, reports, system issues and audits.
    • Regularly review HRIS processes and procedures, identifying potential improvements and opportunities for innovative solutions.

Skills Needed to Succeed

    • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation.
    • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
    • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
    • Maintain a systematic and organized approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely.
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 1-3+ years of experience.
