The Coordinator, Marketing Strategy supports the strategy team in executing film marketing campaigns, strategic planning, and initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, overseeing metadata and artwork, processing invoices, creating sales slides, assisting with marketing materials, distributing campaign documents, supporting international asset delivery, collaborating with the copywriting team, and assisting with vendor communications and budget management. This role requires strong project management, organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and a passion for film and marketing. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in marketing or the entertainment industry.

Summary of Position

We are seeking an organized and creative Coordinator, Marketing Strategy with a passion for film and marketing. This individual will support the strategy team in executing campaigns, strategic planning, and initiatives aligned with team goals. In addition, they will work cross-functionally within the motion picture group, collaborating with creative, publicity, digital, media, sales, and external parties. This role will assist in crafting, developing and implementing marketing strategies for a range of film releases. Furthermore, they will assist in strategic planning and operational execution of campaigns, including theatrical promotions, international deliverables, and media initiatives. The ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in marketing or the entertainment industry and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings, take detailed notes, and support team follow-ups.
  • Oversee metadata, artwork, and software systems entries for new releases.
  • Process invoices for the strategy team, supports the strategy team on title budget processing and status. 
  • Communicating invoice and coding information with Vendors and other internal departments as needed.
  • Create and present title sales slides to the Sales team. 
  • Assist in creating of marketing materials and filmmaker presentations for internal teams.
  • Coordinate and distribute strategic briefs, campaign documents, and one-pagers.
  • Support international asset delivery and creative material requests, routing assets for approvals.
  • Collaborate with the Copywriting/Proofing team on copy and metadata requests.
  • Assist with vendor communications, invoice processing, and budget management for marketing campaigns and title specific initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of administrative experience in marketing or production at a studio or similar organization.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to track multiple moving pieces. 
  • Passionate about films and marketing, with a creative mindset and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative team player who can navigate a dynamic and evolving environment.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in the entertainment, theatrical, home entertainment or marketing industries
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
