Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Manager with a strong focus on B2B traffic generation and lead acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving high-quality organic traffic and generating Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for B2B markets, particularly in North America. This role requires a strategic thinker who can execute innovative SEO initiatives aligned with business objectives and targeted lead generation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SEO Strategy Development & Execution:
o Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies focused on driving B2B traffic and acquiring leads.
o Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and keyword research tailored to the B2B gaming and technology sectors.
2. On-Page and Technical SEO:
o Optimize website architecture, content, and user experience to meet SEO best practices for B2B audiences.
o Oversee technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to crawl errors, page speed, and indexing to enhance lead generation potential.
3. Off-Page SEO:
o Build and execute link-building campaigns focused on B2B domains to improve domain authority and referral traffic.
o Establish partnerships and relationships with relevant industry blogs, forums, and thought leaders to secure high-quality backlinks.
4. Content Optimization:
o Collaborate with content teams to develop SEO-optimized, high-value content that appeals to decision-makers and influencers in B2B markets.
o Provide guidelines for meta descriptions, title tags, and other on-page elements to increase engagement and conversions.
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
o Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
o Track B2B-specific KPIs such as organic lead generation, website conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
6. Lead Generation & Target Market Focus:
o Drive organic website traffic in targeted B2B markets, with a particular focus on North America.
o Develop localized SEO strategies to align with the preferences and behaviors of North American B2B audiences.
o Achieve MQL and SQL targets by generating high-quality B2B leads through SEO initiatives.
7. Team Management & Collaboration:
o Coordinate with marketing, content, and sales teams to align SEO goals with broader business objectives.
o Mentor and manage junior team members to maintain high standards in SEO execution.
8. Staying Updated:
o Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and innovations in B2B digital marketing.
o Proactively implement strategies to adapt to changes and maintain competitive rankings.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
· Growth in organic website traffic for targeted B2B markets.
· Achievement of MQL and SQL targets from organic channels in North America.
· Improvement in keyword rankings for B2B-focused keywords.
· Increase in high-quality backlinks from B2B domains.
· Enhanced website conversion rates from organic traffic.
· Reduction in bounce rates and improved engagement metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
· 8+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on generating B2B traffic and leads.
· In-depth knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog.
· Expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO with demonstrated results in lead generation for B2B markets.
· Strong understanding of the B2B buyer journey and decision-making process.
· Experience in targeting North American markets is highly preferred.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
· Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
· Passion for the gaming and technology industry is a plus.
