Job Summary
Job Description
Trendyol International seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Accounting Specialist to lead daily inventory accounting, month-end closings, and process improvements. Responsibilities include managing stock counts, ensuring accuracy and compliance, overseeing procurement accounting (import/export, supplier reconciliations), reviewing trial balances, and collaborating with warehouse operations. The role requires strong inventory accounting knowledge, IFRS understanding, and proficiency in SAP FI/MM modules. Must have:
- 5+ years accounting experience (retail/e-commerce preferred)
- Proficiency in inventory accounting and SAP FI/MM
- Strong IFRS understanding, Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication (written and spoken English)
- Lead daily inventory accounting activities
- Manage stock counts, resolve discrepancies
Good to have:
- CO and SD knowledge (SAP)
- Experience with import/export processes

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Inventory Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of critical inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while fostering strong relationships with our operations teams. The main location for this role will be the warehouse, where you'll be working closely with warehouse operations and overseeing month-end closings, audits, and process improvements. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and support daily inventory accounting activities, including month-end closings.
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory accounting process to ensure accuracy.
- Manage and oversee stock counts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Provide guidance on compliance and audit processes related to inventory.
- Oversee inventory procurement accounting, including import/export processes and supplier reconciliations.
- Review and monitor trial balances, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Spend few days per week in the warehouse to build strong, collaborative relationships with operations teams.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting; retail or e-commerce preferred
- Proficiency in inventory accounting and familiarity with SAP FI and MM modules (CO and SD knowledge is a plus).
- Strong understanding of IFRS
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.

We offer a hybrid model that combines the productivity of remote work with the bonding and collaboration of in-office work. Teams are expected to work from our offices on designated days each week, fostering team spirit, creativity and cross team collaboration as part of our culture.
We also provide a summer working model, with a two-month fully remote work opportunity during July and August.
