Software Developer Intern – Summer 2025 

We are looking for extraordinarily skilled Developer Interns from a variety of backgrounds and interests to join our Kingdom this Summer! 

Your Role Within the Kingdom

Are you a C++ enthusiast with a passion for games and interactive experiences? Join us as a Software Development Intern and contribute to improving and maintaining our cross-platform mobile engine, editor, and toolchain. You will collaborate with developers to refine and develop new features that support dozens of live game teams, helping artists, coders, and designers bring their ideas to life. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, enhance player-facing experiences, and deepen your understanding of game technology while continuously learning from an experienced team.

Your Responsibilities

• Work alongside client developers to design, develop, and implement engaging game features and optimizations.
• Understand game requirements and translate them into clean, efficient, and scalable C++ code.
• Debug and resolve issues related to game performance and functionality across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, artists, and QA, to ensure feature quality and smooth integration.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and development discussions to contribute ideas and refine features.

Skills to Create Thrills

• Strong knowledge of C++ programming and object-oriented design.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and performance optimization techniques.
• Basic understanding of client-server architecture and network programming.
• Interest in interactive systems, game mechanics, and feature development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
