As a Vehicle Technical Artist at CIG, you'll be part of a team creating high-fidelity vehicle assets for Star Citizen and Squadron 42.  Responsibilities include hands-on implementation, performance optimization, rigging, skinning, asset markup, and supporting the vehicle content team. You will work closely with art and programming teams, develop and improve pipelines using tools like 3DS Max, MaxScript, and Python, and investigate new techniques. The role involves bringing ships to life through animation and physics tuning, and ensuring assets are technically sound for use in the games.  CIG has a reputation for creating complex, characterful vehicles that are more like mini-game levels, and you'll be contributing to their already impressive library of nearly one hundred ships.

This person will play a key role in creating and optimizing the Skylo SIM Provisioning Architecture, Implementation, and contribution toward platform cloud services and deployment. The right candidate will combine a depth of technical knowledge with a passion for creating best-in-class software infrastructure solutions. This role is located in Bangalore, India where we are onsite 3 days a week in the office. You will design and develop distributed application services, microservices, and components and scalable database systems. Implement Application Services for a highly scalable cloud-based software platform. Define, Design, and implement REST APIs. Build Swagger UI, Postman collection for APIs. Application development using Java/GoLang, GCP Pub/Sub, SQL DB, and Web hook integration. Integration with 3rd party application systems using REST api or/and messaging queues. Defining Component Test Scenarios and Test Cases, Component testing and Unit testing, Code Coverage and API test automation. Build and Deployment using Jira, Jenkin, GCR/GKE. Implement and enforce security best practices in both software development and deployment. Work cross-functionally with other teams to quickly iterate, deploy, streamline, enhance on features, design and components. Establish a disciplined development and deployment process so that software ships on time and at a very high level of quality. Validate and deliver high-quality code using tests.

What We Look For <ul><li>8+ years experience in professional software development using OOP and distributed microservices.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.</li><li>Programming capabilities with experience in Java or/and Go Language, preferably Java.</li><li>Experience in developing microservice using spring-boot framework or using go lang framework</li><li>Prior working experience in messaging broker such as Kafka or/and GCP Pub/Sub to build event driven microservices architecture and solutions</li><li>Excellent knowledge and implementation skills of data schema design and developing efficient SQL queries. Strong experience building services using SQL DB.</li><li>Working knowledge of stream processing systems and message queues like GCP pub-sub.</li><li>Experienced in REST API design and protocol design across different network layers.</li><li>Experience in building stable and scalable server components/features preferred.</li><li>Distributed systems knowledge for massive horizontal scaling.</li><li>Working experience on using Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkin pipeline and GCP</li><li>Should have quality focus with demonstrable skills using test frameworks.</li><li>Highly collaborative, with excellent communication skills. </li></ul>
