The Sr. Analyst, Licensing at Disney will manage current licensees and onboard new partners, aligning with the category strategy. This role requires strong collaboration with various departments (Finance, Marketing, Retail, Product Development). Responsibilities include supervising licensees, negotiating contracts, recommending product mixes, fostering relationships with key retailers, identifying new business partners, and developing market share strategies. The analyst will also support marketing and retail demands, manage product initiatives, and mentor a coordinator.
Must have:
  • 2+ years Marketing/Sales or Retail buying experience
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Admin or Marketing
  • Advanced English proficiency
Good to have:
  • Retail (Hardlines) industry experience

How you will contribute to our magical experience?: 

The role of Sr. Analyst, Licensing will be reporting to the category manager. The Sr. Analyst will be full-time focused on managing current business and licensees, as well as bringing in new partners according to the category´s strategy. Great interface with the main areas of the company: Finance, Marketing, Retail, Product development, GBC and DASP.

The Sr. Analyst, Content Protection will be responsible for: 

  • Supervise more than 30 licensees and prospects in Stationery & Consumables. Develop strong relationship with li-censees and key retailers to maximize commercial and franchise opportunities. Main activities: negotiation, con-tract renewal, product mix recommendation, licensee´s relationship with PDs, Marketing and Retail.
  • Identify and prospect key business partners. Develop clear and consistent strategies to reach market share, goals and performance.
  • Support the coordinator in marketing and retail demands to maximize licensee’s participation and business strate-gy. Manages specific product initiatives, promotions, trade and consumer advertising, public relations and in store events designed to maximize sell-in and sell-out of products.
  • Support the manager with BTS campaign, assortment, catalog and Escolar Fair.
  • Leadership to develop the coordinator in the segment.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • At least 2 yrs. experience in Marketing or Sales in industries or, buyer at Retail.
  • Preferred Industries: Retail (Hardlines)
  • Communication and negotiation skills, organized and experience on performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Office at an advanced level (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Minimum: Business Administration or Marketing– Bachelor degree.
  • Advanced level of English.
