In this key role, you’ll contribute to shaping and upholding our culture while delivering an exceptional employee experience across every stage of the employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the Senior People Director, you’ll support People Partners across multiple business areas, acting as a trusted advisor. You’ll collaborate with Employee Experience Specialists, HR Advisors, across our global locations to deliver effective, people-centric solutions and you’ll independently provide pragmatic guidance to stakeholders on HR policies, processes, and practices to ensure we provide the best employee experience possible.
You'll lead on data reporting and analysis, talent and performance processes, and engagement action plans and you will also resolve manager and employee policy queries linked to core HR processes, absence, probation, performance management and much more.

Your role in the Kingdom:
- Provide expert advice on HR policies, processes, and local requirements, resolving queries on topics such as performance management, employee relations, rewards, absence, probation, and more.
- Guide managers on areas like disciplinaries, grievances, sickness, and parental leave, ensuring compliance with UK employment laws.
- Maintain awareness of UK employment laws and take an active role in updating local policies, educating managers and work with peers in HR and legal to update our intranet pages as needed.
- Own and manage HR data for your function(s), delivering insights and metrics (e.g., turnover, retention, compensation) to inform decisions.
- Maintain employee data in Workday and personal files, identifying opportunities to improve data management practices, and ways of working with our global Employee Experience team
- Championing our values and culture you will support training programs around local and companywide: Performance Management and talent frameworks, DE&I strategies, ethical laws, standards, and policies.
- Support managers create a seamless onboarding experience for new Kingsters creating a positive 90-day experience and setting them up for success
- Support Employee Engagement initiatives; by coordinating initiatives, running focus groups, and managing feedback action plans.
- Conducts Exit interviews as applicable ensuring learning from these are captured and fed back into both people and business plans.
- Support HR initiatives, projects, events, community days and other King initiatives. This will include the development of project plans and supporting of local and functional projects to help improve our employee experience.
- Provide comprehensive HR administrative support, including managing and ensuring that personnel files are up to date, creating employee certificate/offboarding documentation, liaising with payroll teams as applicable.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex HR activities and support Employee Experience Specialists.
- Be the champion for HR process excellence and apply best practices where operational improvement is needed and help to implement change on a local and global level.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, manage, and escalate complaints/sensitive people related cases to relevant People Partners.
Skills to create thrills:
- HR experience gained in a HR Advisory role, with hands-on experience of managing end to end HR people processes. You will be professional, credible, and responsive
- Strong advisory skills with practical knowledge and experience of applying UK employment law.
- Experience of interpreting and applying HR policies and procedures with the ability to identify potential ER issues.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and excellent time management skills
- Experience managing multiple priorities, collaborating effectively, and driving initiatives to completion.
- Strong experience of data analysis, management, pulling of insights and recommendations from this.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders, employees, and HR peers to ensure effective collaboration and relationships
- Sound judgement and decision making, with the ability to identify and resolve problems, provide solutions, and take necessary actions to prevent them from developing in future.
- Appreciation and understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in dealing with any people related activities.
- Great listening skills, be objective, fair and offer advice and feedback ensuring the employee experience continuously lives up to our culture and values.
- Professional, credible, and responsive
- Excellent IT skills – particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Business fluent written and verbal English
Bonus skills
- Experience of using HR systems such as Workday.
- Experience with using case management systems.
- Good level of all Microsoft packages including excel and PowerPoint. Can gather internal HR metrics and present them in a useful way.
- Experience supporting the facilitation (& training) of HR processes spanning across: Performance Management, Engagement, Talent, DE&I and other people processes is an advantage.
