The Release Coordinator at Frontier is vital for the smooth delivery of games. Responsibilities include creating and enforcing Frontier Requirements, releasing builds to public platforms (Steam, Epic, etc.), monitoring user-submitted crashes, and reporting to game teams. The role also involves submitting new titles to age rating boards (PEGI, ESRB), ensuring compliance with standards and deadlines. The coordinator works closely with various teams, communicates release progress, and proactively seeks process improvements. This hybrid role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.

This role can be on a hybrid working basis, which means you’ll have the opportunity to spend time working both in the studio and at home. We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.  

WHAT’S THE ROLE
The Release Team are vital in ensuring the continued success and smooth delivery of our games. They specialise in the preparation, execution and monitoring of releases for new and existing titles. Responsibilities include creating, updating and enforcing Frontier Requirements (bespoke requirements that ensure each release goes as expected), and working in the applicable developer portals to release builds to the public.

You’ll communicate with all stakeholder groups involved in releasing a build, ensuring that each required task has been completed and on time. Following release, the team monitor user submitted crashes, reporting those to the game teams.

The Release Team are also responsible for submitting new titles to age rating boards e.g. PEGI and ESRB, gathering necessary submission materials, ensuring they meet the standards required, and ensuring deadlines are met.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    • Creating, updating and enforcing Frontier Requirements
    • Working closely with all teams involved in the release process to ensure a successful release for any platform
    • Releasing builds to the public using developer portals for Steam, Epic and more
    • Setting up crash reporting for new titles
    • Monitoring and reporting public build stability across all platforms in a clear and accurate manner
    • Backing up debug symbols for public builds
    • Submitting new titles to age rating boards
    • Investigating ways to improve our processes within the team and supporting with implementation of new processes
    • Completing ad-hoc requests
