Project Development Assistant

One Of Us is a visual effects studio founded in London in 2004 by co-directors Rachael Penfold, Dominic Parker and Tom Debenham.

With a dynamic team of over 350 highly skilled professionals, we take pride in pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling with experience in all stages of production, from concept through to planning, photography and post-production.

From breathtaking fantasy landscapes to gripping action sequences, our portfolio spans a diverse range of genres and award winning projects such as The Matrix: Resurrections, Under the Skin, Bridgerton and Mission: Impossible.

The Project Development Assistant role at One of Us provides support to the Project Development Coordinator and Head of Project Development to ensure projects run smoothly. Our ideal candidate will be level headed under pressure, super organised and have precise attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Preparing breakdowns into our internal bidding template

Updating and organising the ‘bidding hub’ on GoogleDrive

Overseeing Input/Output; liaising with data team, putting in download tickets and organising the delivery of packages to clients

Scheduling internal and external meetings and liaising with runners and editorial teams

Managing the Project Development diary/calendar

Taking notes in internal and external meetings

Assisting in the preparation of pitches/presentations as required

Involvement with industry research on upcoming projects and presenting suggestions

Seeking opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations

What we are looking for:

Excellent attention to detail

Microsoft Office and G-Suite (Excel/GoogleSheets) experience

Strong communicator, comfortable liaising with Directors and Heads of Department within the company as well as filmmakers

Excellent organisational skills

Ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and adapt to changes during the production

Able to learn new things quickly - prior VFX knowledge is not a prerequisite for the right candidate!

Experience of ShotGrid/Flow an advantage

All roles, including hybrid/remote opportunities, at One of Us require candidates to reside in the UK or France, depending on the location of the role, or must be willing to relocate for the duration of the contract. All candidates must disclose if they have an existing Right to Work in the relevant country, or would require sponsorship support, i.e. Visa.

Hours and location:
Our core hours are 9.30am - 6.30pm or 10am - 7pm Monday to Friday, with with an hour for lunch.
