As a Product Manager, Partner Platform, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Google Cloud's partner ecosystem. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that enable rapid growth and deliver the power of Google Cloud to the world. You will need to have a deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem, the market, competition, and user requirements. You will also need to be able to identify strategic opportunities for the Google Cloud business, advocate investments, and obtain executive buy-in. You will be responsible for articulating your product direction in a way that captures attention and compels others to drive action despite obstacles and competing priorities. You will also be responsible for validating the market size and opportunity, identifying opportunities in the market landscape, and facilitating launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
Good to have:
  • 5 years of experience in product management building enterprise software products
  • Experience in business applications for partner ecosystem, incentives, sales, ordering, contracting, and billing

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in product management building enterprise software products.
  • Experience in business applications for partner ecosystem, incentives, sales, ordering, contracting, and billing.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the cloud ecosystem, the market, competition, and user requirements in-depth.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for the Google Cloud business, advocate investments, and obtain executive buy in.
  • Articulate your product direction in a way that captures attention and compels others to drive action despite obstacles and competing priorities. 
  • Validate the market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity). Identify opportunities in the market landscape. 
  • Facilitate launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
