The Global Payments team provides professional payment solutions with the smooth functioning of payment channels to all global businesses of ByteDance to support the expansion and growth of ByteDance’s global businesses. About Us We are seeking an accomplished Financial Services Partnership Manager who will play an integral role in managing our financial services network. In this role, you will explore and formalize North America and LATAM regional and global financial services partnerships and optimize our solutions. An ideal candidate would have experience working at financial services roles in fintechs, technology and/or marketplace companies with a proven track record in managing and optimizing financial services partnerships. This role can be based out of our San Jose, San Francisco, Seattle, New York or Los Angeles offices. Responsibilities: - Initiate and deepen financial services partnerships with Global, North American and LATAM fintechs and banks. - Identify and negotiate the best BNPL, seller financing, eCommerce related insurance and other financial services solutions. - Analyze North American and LATAM payment market development and regulatory trends. - Responsible for rolling out financial services for TikTok Shop buyers and sellers as TikTok Shop expands to new countries in the Americas. - Work closely with ByteDance / TikTok North American and LATAM teams to understand local needs and proactively work on solutions to support business growth. - Ensure excellent external communication and internal coordination to roll-out new services, taking into account market specificities (regulation, competition, etc.)

Minimum requirements: - 5+ years of financial services partnership experience at fintechs, technology and/or marketplace companies - Have an in-depth understanding of the North American, LATAM and Global financial services industry and trends. - Strong balance of both strategic planning and an active hands-on approach is a must. This will be a hands-on role with deep involvement in execution and leading from the front. Preferred requirements: - Proven track record in managing and optimizing financial services partnerships - Strong academic background. Bachelor's degree or above. - Self-starter and problem solver with an entrepreneurial drive. - Network builder, both externally with financial services fintech players, and internally with cross-functional teams. - Good team player. Ability to work with global, cross-functional and diverse teams to drive results. - Excellent communication skills; fluent and able to negotiate in English. - Strong organization and priority management skills, and the ability to work under pressure. - Can adapt to certain intensity of business travel.
