Job Details
- Understand our product and publishing team’s user retention philosophy and communicate between publishing team and Malaysian users
- Launch and operate official channels across established and emerging social platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, and Discord) through content ideation, copywriting, asset management, publishing, and reporting
- Moderate and oversee the product’s Malaysian communities on our official social media channels
- Translate and localize social media postings from English to Bahasa Melayu
- Organize and participate in Garena-organized local grassroots events and community gatherings
- Work with community content creators to create engaging content and grow
- Work closely with marketing team and the rest of publishing team to develop effective campaigns by providing in-depth insights on Malaysian gamers
- Fresh graduates or young professionals with experience in community management (such as gamer community events), game operations, game publishing or related scope of work is preferred
- Familiar with various social media platforms and their associated tools (such as Discord, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Native Bahasa Melayu speaker with proficient English reading, writing and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Deep passion for for pop culture and staying on top of current trends, and the ability to react with platform and content to connect authentically with our players
- Gamer with a strong familiarity with major Battle Royale games on Mobile. Passionate about games with a good understanding of the gaming industry, and preferably familiar with recent Extraction games.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and rapport-building is preferred
