Overview

Microsoft Advertising (MSA) helps the world's leading advertisers maximize their potential through innovative digital advertising solutions. We are seeking an exceptional Partner Sales Executive for MSA's China Cross-Border Ads business, with experience in agency sales and digital advertising. This role involves evangelizing Microsoft Advertising, building strong relationships with key brands and agencies in China, and driving growth in this rapidly evolving market. The role reports to the Sales Director, China Cross-border Ads, within the Software Technology Center Asia (STCA), which leads the development and innovation of core Microsoft products, including Bing Search and the Microsoft Advertising platform.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum bachelar’s degree from a renowned university

• 9+ years’ experience in partner sales and digital advertising, with a proven track record in either the cross-border or domestic CN market

• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders develop and execute successful sales strategies, and grow revenue through strategic partnerships.

• A results-driven, self-motivated individual with a strong ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

 

Responsibilities

Agency Development & Management:

Deeply understand the China cross-border agency landscape and expand the agency portfolio to improve market coverage.

Develop tailored business and marketing strategies to grow opportunities within current and new client relationships.

Foster internal and external partnerships to drive execution and ensure seamless account management.

Create quarterly and long-term agency plans, leveraging Microsoft’s solutions to scale business regionally and globally.

Handle customer escalations, resolving issues related to Ad Support, Billing, and Trust & Safety.

Sales Focus:

Own and drive revenue targets from managed cross-border agencies through direct agency engagement and relationship building.

Position as a thought leader and trusted advisor to executive-level decision-makers at the agencies. Proactively influence agency to secure commitment in driving MSA Share of Wallet and aligning business target.

Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and cross-selling Microsoft Advertising solutions (Search, Display, Video, Native, Retail).

Scale impact by enabling agencies and implementing scalable programs that drive growth among small to medium-sized advertisers.

Industry Knowledge:

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging products, and Microsoft’s competitive positioning.

Share knowledge and industry insights with internal teams to enhance decision-making and drive competitive advantage.
