We are looking for a Curriculum Development Specialist II to join our Global Education team located in Bangalore, India, reporting to the senior manager of Technical Education. In this role, you will create, translate, and maintain technical education documentation and course materials that help our customers understand and effectively use our technology products. You will work closely with Product management, Engineering, Technical Marketing, and senior curriculum development specialists to ensure accuracy and clarity in all customer-facing content.
You are the ideal candidate if you perform well under pressure, have good listening and problem-solving skills, and can think on your feet. This is an exciting role on a fast-paced education team that requires an energetic, innovative, and customer-centric individual.
What you’ll do:
Create, update, and maintain user manuals, guides, FAQs, and other technical documents
Ensure all content is clear, concise, user-friendly, and up-to-date with the latest product features
Work closely with Education, Product management, and Engineering teams to gather information and understand product functionalities, and use customer feedback to enhance documentation quality and usability
Use AI tools to translate educational materials into multiple languages and collaborate with local teams to adapt content for different regions, ensuring translations are culturally appropriate and maintain the original meaning
Assist in developing other educational content, such as video tutorials and instructor-led training materials
What you’ll bring:
Excellent writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and experience with AI LLM tools, such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini
Solid oral and written communication skills in English
Exceptional collaboration, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities
Highly organized, priority-driven, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes, working with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in a second language, such as French, German, Spanish, Japanese, or Korean is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, education, engineering, information technology, or a related field
What success looks like:
After six months, you will…
Successfully create, update, and maintain at least ten key technical documents, such as user manuals, guides, or FAQs, that are clear, concise, and user-friendly
Establish strong working relationships with Education, Product Management, Engineering, and Technical Marketing teams
Use AI tools to translate at least five major educational materials into multiple languages
Implement at least three significant improvements based on customer feedback
After about a year, you will…
Assist in creating advanced educational content, such as video tutorials and instructor-led training materials
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of content development and translation
