Job Description

Costume Assistant needed for a 12-month contract at a theme park and resort. Responsibilities include costume issue operation (registration, inventory, distribution, cleaning, ironing, repair), maintaining daily operations on distribution floors or theaters, handling cleaning detergents and costume materials (fur, suede, feather, etc.), and providing costumed cast members with quality costumes. The role requires shift duties, including mornings (6:45 am to 4:30 pm) and afternoons (1:30 pm to 11:15 pm), with potential for outdoor work. The position demands a team player with attention to detail and basic computer skills. The schedule involves working five days a week, including weekends and holidays.

This is a Full Time position which requires shift duties and times will vary depending on assignment.
Typical shift hours: Morning shift (6:45am to 4:30pm); Afternoon shift (1:30pm to 11:15pm).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for costume issue operation, including registration arrangement, inventory control, distribution, cleaning, ironing, repair
  • Maintain day to day operations on distribution floors or theaters (depending on assignment)
  • Handle cleaning detergent and possibly costume materials such as fur, suede, feather and etc.
  • Provide the costumed Cast Members/performers with quality costumes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Team player with good attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Outdoor shift duties maybe required

Additional Information:

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Park and Resort Hotels operate 365 days a year. Candidates will need to work shifts according to a roster that is determined by the Company - typically 5 working days per week including shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
