What is this role about?
Our Play Network group is looking to add a collaborative Business Development Manager to the team!
Our team’s goal is to optimize in-store sales and play along the hobby channel, working on our brands and products visibility and accessibility.
We work with a network of Game Stores and other retailers that form our Play Network partnership program. The Business Development Manager’s role will be working on expanding the network.
Key Resposibilities:
Creating Partnership program Acquisition and Expansion strategy
Act as a point of entry and gateway to key partners in EMEA region.
Take the lead on building the acquisition strategy and tactics.
Collaborate with Play Network Program managers to create a roadway for new types of partners willing to join the network.
Coordinate expansion efforts
Constantly work on expanding outreach and contact network on behalf of the team.
Attend customer conferences, trade shows and industry events.
Build strong relationships with key industry players and representatives (distributors, cooperative groups, retail franchises, associations, show organizers etc).
Create and manage approval and onboarding process for new categories of partners.
Coordinate key meetings and run regular check-ins with Sales, Trade Marketing, Legal and global counterparts.
Analysis and communication:
Work closely with BI and Data Analytics to track the key acquisition and retention metrics.
Build and maintain acquisition trackers.
Draft and distribute regular acquisition updates to key internal collaborators.
What you'll bring...
3 to 5 years of experience in managing external partnerships or business development efforts.
Background working in international and multicultural environment
Ideally a background in Gaming/Video Games/Entertainment.
Fluent in English, a second language is a plus.
