The Entertainment Group at Hasbro is looking for a Graphic Designer to bring creative expertise to a wide range of content initiatives spanning Digital, SVOD, FAST platforms and more! This role supports the visual storytelling of our entertainment brands, ensuring that all design elements—from pitch decks to YouTube and Social graphics— are aligned with franchise and production goals. As a key creative team member supporting different facets of the Entertainment Org, your passion for entertainment and visual storytelling will help to bring our shows to life through exciting visual assets.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of Hasbro Entertainment, you will work closely with creative producers, production managers, and post-production teams to deliver a broad range of graphic assets and support materials. Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
Static Design:
- Pitch Deck & Presentation Materials: Design visually compelling pitch decks that effectively communicate the essence of new and existing show concepts to key stakeholders.
- Show Logos & Key Art Development: Design show logos and key art, ensuring they can adapt across multiple languages and formats (ENG and dubbed).
- Sales & Trade Show Support: Design promotional materials for trade shows, including panel designs and trade ads. Create and update content catalogue pages for sales, reflecting new seasons or updated key art.
- Testing Stimulus for New Show Concepts: Develop visuals that accompany high-level narratives for new show concepts being tested with audiences.
- Social media & Digital Assets: Design impactful thumbnails, banners, and social media graphics for multi-platforms, aligning visuals with the overall content goals.
- Liaison with Creative Agencies: Collaborate with external creative agencies as needed, providing clear creative direction and actionable feedback to ensure all assets align with franchise visual identity.
Video & Motion Graphics:
- Graphics for Video Content: Create custom graphic assets for video, including music videos, animated shows, and live-action content, to support storytelling and critical messaging.
- Motion Graphics & Video Editing: Develop animated elements and motion graphics templates (e.g., lower thirds, intros, outros, transitions) to amplify video messaging. This includes editing video promos, channel sizzles, and trade sizzles.
Creative Development Support:
- Visual Briefs & Mood boards: Assist creative producers in pulling together visual briefs and mood boards for animation studios. Use provided references and create bespoke visual directions to guide production teams.
Key Skills:
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and PowerPoint/Keynote
- Skilled in motion graphics and template design.
- Skilled in designing logos and key art, working with brand assets to deliver impactful visuals
- Familiarity with visual development (VisDev) for entertainment brands
- Able to advise on design-related initiatives and provide solutions for design-related obstacles
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain brand integrity across all assets.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of creativity, passion and integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.F.A. in Graphic Design; or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, ideally within the entertainment, media, or digital content industries.
