Summary

As an App Partnership Manager at Make, you'll manage a portfolio of technology partners, developing strategies to enhance partnerships and accelerate new business acquisition. This involves strategic business planning, collaborating with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Product Management) to launch new initiatives and drive monetization. You'll identify growth opportunities by expanding partner offerings on Make's platform, building strong relationships with partners to increase their business and customer acquisition. Responsibilities include tracking ARR growth, forecasting, ensuring customer-centric planning, and securing partner commitment for marketing activities and customer acquisition goals. The role requires strong relationship management skills, understanding of integration and workflow technology, and SaaS business models.

We are looking for experienced partner managers to join our rapidly growing ecosystem organization.  Within the Technology Partnerships team, the Partner Manager will own and manage business relationships with key and general technology partners and is responsible for identifying and ensuring successful execution of marketing activities, strategic plans, expansion of the technology relationship, and organizational alignment with their partners.  

Successful partner managers have a strong understanding of partner needs, the overall market we operate within, and our product.  Success requires deep collaboration with many different stakeholders across our business. 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Manage a portfolio of named partners within our Technology Partnership team
  • Develop a plan to enhance these partnerships and accelerate new business acquisition by connecting partner and Make strengths through strategic business planning
  • Enable and support the development of new initiatives in cooperation with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Partners and other internal teams to drive new monetization.
  • Uncover growth opportunities by expanding the partner’s technology offerings on Make 
  • Establish and maintain critical relationships within the assigned partners with specific emphasis toward growing that partner business and increasing customer acquisition
  • Represent the interests of the assigned partners to drive engagement and focus internally
  • Be accountable for the ARR growth target and forecast
  • Ensure ‘Customer First’ type of thinking for all partner planning.
  • Ensure commitment from the partners for marketing activities, customer acquisition goals, focus and capabilities critical for partner success

What we are looking for:

  • Individuals knowledgeable about best practices in relationship management, integration and workflow technology, and SaaS business models
  • People that are proactive, analytical, collaborative, and have strong communication  skills
  • 1 to 3 years of experience within an external facing (sales or partnerships) discipline, or 
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a customer-facing role of a technical nature
  • College degree in computer science, information systems, business or a related field
  • Written and verbal fluency in English
  • Ability to communicate and understand technical concepts in conjunction with business value
  • Advanced users of automation, integration, SaaS APIs, and/or no-code software solutions have additional preference
