Accounting Manager

We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager for a renowned media and entertainment conglomerate. In this 4-6 month contract opportunity, you will join the Partner Accounting Team to oversee partner accounting, month-end close processes, and reconciliations for the client’s Home Entertainment Business. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the preparation and review of month-end close journal entries, ensuring all entries are accurate, compliant with accounting standards, and completed in a timely manner.
• Provide guidance to team members during the close process to ensure smooth execution and resolve any discrepancies.
• Review monthly inter-company and participation balances, ensuring reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner.
• Prepare various schedules for quarterly reporting to Corporate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• At least 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in month-end close and reporting.
• Prior experience in the entertainment industry is preferred.
• Exceptional skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse reporting.
• Self-starter with the ability to independently identify issues and propose well-thought-out solutions.
