Workforce Manager

Our Operations team in Toronto is currently looking for a Workforce Manager to join the team. 

As a Workforce Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting resources and teams to deliver  operational efficiencies and continuity through capacity planning, forecasting, scheduling and intraday activities. Reporting to the Head of Central Services, the successful candidate will bring keen understanding and experience to fulfill and manage the Workforce department through development and adoption of frameworks, policies and processes to ensure service levels are achieved.  

Key responsibilities will include:

• Effective use of WFM systems and tools to accurately project and forecast demands such as develop and guide a consistent workforce planning framework across Operations Teams
• Responsible for managing and optimizing staffing levels and scheduling to ensure Operations Teams are effectively staffed to meet operational needs.
• Monitor and adjust schedules, ongoing forecasting of labour requirements, and analyze performance metrics to ensure productivity targets are met.
• Analyze historical data, trends and metrics to make data-driven decisions in the development of workforce strategies, understanding how changes in the workforce may impact different Operations Teams across the business.
• Manage and approve/deny time-off requests without disrupting coverage and compliance with company policies.
• Lead, mentor and ongoing development for employees to ensure high performance and employee engagement.

What you will bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. (Or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in scheduling, project management, or a related field.
• Experience and working knowledge of industry-standard Workforce management systems (eg. Verint, or other similar, enterprise level industry standard systems).
• Strong proficiency with Excel or Sheets.
• Possess high aptitude for working with large data sets and performing data-analysis. 
• Flexible timelines supporting multiple timezones as part of a global team
