Recruitment
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures and executes robust and well-documented end-to-end recruitment cycle be a point of contact for all aspects related to recruitment (A-Z), following up with candidates and advising on recruitment-related topics to hiring managers and HR.
- Uses data and (market) insights to guide talent decisions, measuring and reporting results back to the business and HR.
- Engages with HR and business leaders to understand hiring trends, anticipate hiring needs, and offer a proactive approach to the recruitment process.
- Partners with hiring managers to define (and execute) selection criteria and specific recruitment strategy by vacancy. Including setting clear expectations on timelines and regular follow up with managers to determine effectiveness.
- Works with hiring managers, (sr.) Talent Acquisition Partners/Leads and HR to create compelling job descriptions (ownership business, supported by HR) and engaging advertisements that promote Fugro as a preferred employer and connect with the market.
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Provides TA updates and reports to relevant stakeholders including but not limited to local HR and local management.
- Screens candidate applications before submission to the Hiring Manager.
- Manages volume recruitment through assessment centers, using fit-for-purpose assessments developed through job analysis and person specifications.
- Builds talent communities (Beamery) for Fugro.
- Travels to other Fugro sites nationally to meet with hiring managers and attend interviews/assessment centers.
- Supports in the impr. and impl. of best practices in the TA processes.
- Internal mobility is important for us. To fill vacancies, ensure local alignment with HR to understand if current employees would be suitable for the specific role.(always ensure the role is posted on our internal job board (Workday).
Talent Attraction
- Proactively uncovers and implements creative ways to identify and recruit top talent (incl. efforts on diversity outreach)
- Initiates, develops, and manages (pro-active) go-to-market and talent sourcing, connection activities including e.g. Recruitment advertising (campaigns), both internally and externally (in collaboration with Global TA & EB), Operation of other sourcing channels, such as employee referrals, LinkedIn, direct sourcing, social media and other communities,(online) Database searches, Networking.
- Agency Management (up-to-date agency supplier list for relevant functional areas, signed an agreement with the agency, agency performance)
- Develops (and maintains) a large and diverse qualified applicant pool (pipeline) in Beamery by direct sourcing, competitive information, websites, and referrals from sources in the marketplace.
Employer Brand Promotion
- Promotes, supports, and enhances our Employer Brand and culture to potential candidates via different channels – in line with Fugro's tone of voice and employer branding guidelines. Continuously promote best practices across the business.
- Nationally attend events and exhibitions that would present an opportunity for Fugro to promote itself as an employer. e.g. universities, job fairs, presentations, and career talks.
- Ensures timely engaging materials to use during career events and provides materials (photo, video) of the event to the TA manager which can be promoted on social media to enhance the employer brand.
- Ensures the TA Manager is aware of any activities happening within the business that would present an opportunity for Fugro to promote itself as an employer such as charity events, L&D successes, team building activities etc.
- Supports with the creation of promotional posts for digital marketing.
- Promotes proactively Inclusion and Diversity at all stages of the recruitment life cycle.
- Collaborates with (sr.) TA Partners & TA Analyst, Global TA & EB in creating and implementing Marketing campaigns to source candidates.
Relationship Management
- Establish and continuously develop and manage networks through industry contacts, university relations, association memberships, and trade groups, among other sources, to maximize recruitment resources (building talent pipelines) and opportunities for the Company.
- Develops long-term relationships with current and past candidates as well as prospects who have been sourced via eg job fairs, events, and direct sourcing channels to encourage future applications.
- Builds trusted, effective relationships with hiring managers, the Talent Acquisition team, and the wider HR team by providing a quality TA process and keeping them up to date with recruitment progress to influence and deliver TA strategies.
Compliance
- Ensures all TA activity is in line with the Fugro TA Policy, relevant local legislation, and global TA & Employer Branding policies & procedures.
- Works with the company Recruitment and HR Systems as required, and maintains all necessary documentation.
Candidate Experience
- Owns and drives a great experience for candidates and all internal stakeholders, that is inclusive, effective, positive, simplified, and timely – regardless of the hiring outcome.

HSE Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the safety of self and others at the site. Prevent damage to equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPEs Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his workplace. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguishers in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE training as instructed to do so.
