Job Description

DXC-Luxoft seeks a Senior Test Engineer (Technical Lead) with 5+ years of automotive testing experience, including system/integration testing and experience with automated and manual tests. Responsibilities involve analyzing test cases and simulator responses, developing test strategies and scripts, maintaining automated test harnesses, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting hardware/software integration, ensuring proper operation of test equipment, analyzing system capabilities, maintaining traceability between requirements and test cases, and performing root cause analysis. The role also includes contributing to test documentation and validating vehicle subsystems in lab and potentially on-road environments. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Atlassian tools, Ethernet, Flexray, CAN, and have HIL/SIL and MOD testing experience.

2+ years in system/integration testing
Experience with Atlassian tools
Ethernet, Flexray, CAN experience
HIL/SIL and MOD testing experience
Diagnose experience

Good to have:

Experience with Ethernet, Flexray, CAN
Understanding of SDLC and V-Cycle

Responsibilities

Analyze conception of existing test cases and simulator response

Develop and execute test strategies, scripts, and data analysis tools specific to automotive systems.

Design and maintain automated test harnesses and frameworks for vehicle subsystems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of hardware and software components.

Support the integration of automotive hardware and software systems.

Ensure proper operation and administration of test equipment.

Analyze system-level capabilities and report results to stakeholders.

Maintain traceability between system requirements and test cases.

Contribute to the development of system test documentation, including test plans and reports.

Validate and verify the functionality of vehicle subsystems in lab environments and potentially on actual vehicles.

Perform root cause analysis for any test failures.

Skills

Must have

5+ years in automotive testing

2+ years in system test/integration test

Understanding of the tradeoffs between automated and manual test

Experience with Atlassian Tools ( JIRA, Confluence etc.)

Experience with Ethernet, Flexray, CAN etc.

Diagnose experience.

HIL/SIL experience

Demonstrated experience in MOD testing.

Nice to have

Experience with Ethernet, Flexray, CAN etc.

Good understanding of SDLC and V-Cycle

Vehicle Test experience

Certifications such as ISTQB Automotive Testing, ISO 26262 Functional Safety, or relevant automotive-specific certifications.
