We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Middle Business Analyst to join our team in a leading pharmaceutical company. This role will focus on supporting data-driven initiatives and products that enhance our decision-making, operations, and data analytics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and data engineers, to understand business objectives and identify data needs
  • Conduct thorough requirements analysis for data-centric projects, including gathering, documenting, and validating requirements to support data products' design and development
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, functional specifications, and data flows
  • Participate in data governance and quality initiatives, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of data used across the organization
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into requirements for data-related projects
  • Gather and document requirements, creating user stories and specifications for data products
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, helping to ensure clear communication and mutual understanding
  • Support testing and validation of data products, ensuring alignment with business requirements before launch.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with exposure to data-related projects
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data privacy compliance within regulated industries is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical details into business language for stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in using tools like Excel for data analysis
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
  • Basic understanding of SQL or data querying, though not required to perform data engineering tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, able to bridge gaps between business and technical stakeholders
  • Well-spoken and written knowledge of the English language (B2) 
  • Ukrainian language - Advanced or higher

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working on data projects within a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, healthcare)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  • Knowledge of data governance or data privacy best practices is beneficial but not essential.
