We’re in search of a Senior Producer (f/m/d) who can play a pivotal role in creating, what we believe, will be the first MMO of its kind.

 

Who will you be working with?

You will be part of our Production Team, responsible for driving overall project delivery on SEED and ensuring that your teams are delivering sustainably and on-time!

This role would be based in our Klang HQ in Berlin.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Lead cross-functional teams to bring game features and builds to life, ensuring smooth and timely delivery using Agile methodologies.
  • Design and implement innovative work systems that power the future of game development, driving team performance and aligning with ambitious long-term project goals.
  • Take ownership of project tracking and dependencies, working seamlessly across teams to eliminate blockers and keep everyone aligned on the path to success.
  • Facilitate dynamic sprint planning and retrospectives, helping teams continuously improve their velocity, efficiency, and creative output.
  • Champion a high-performance, player-focused culture, supporting your team’s well-being and ensuring every project pushes the boundaries of what’s possible.



You could be the person we are searching for if you have…

 

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in game development, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Expertise in creating and optimizing work systems that improve team performance and project efficiency, demonstrated through successful implementation in previous roles.
  • Strong capacity planning and risk management skills, including the ability to proactively manage dependencies and ensure sustainable delivery processes.
  • Experience with delivery KPIs and performance tracking, showcasing an ability to evaluate progress, track velocity, and adjust plans to meet player and stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with demonstrated experience in fostering team health, resolving conflicts, and building a high-performance culture across distributed or remote teams.

How we will get to know you… 

  1. The Recruiter Screen: You will have a 45-minute interview with one of the Klang Talent Acquisition Team. During this conversation, you will be asked questions about your motivations for joining us here at Klang and to give an overview of your relevant skills/experience.

  2. Hiring Manager: If successful, you will have a 1 hour interview with Maria (Our Development Director), This is usually the person who you would report to and you will dive much deeper into your experience.
  3. Competency 1: With a Klang Producer this would take around an hour and focus on - Strategic Skill set
  4. Competency 2: With a Klang Producer this would take around an hour and focus on- Execution Skill set

What can you expect to be working on after starting with us?

 

What can you expect from your first 30 days?

  • Fully Onboard onto Team
  • Fully own all team rituals
  • Assist the Development Director  in evaluating teams' areas of growth1:1s with all ICs, Team Leads, and Directors
  • Evaluate rituals for effectiveness; add, alter, or remove rituals to fit team's maturity level
  • Create personal organization system on a tool of your choice (Google Sheets, JIRA, etc.) - How will you prioritize day to day? What will you drop? Why?Learn team delivery processes & document to add to Confluence 2.0 as necessary-- Hold team accountable to participating in playtests & define process to ingest iteration work

 

What can you expect from your first 60 days?

  • Drive Team Improvement - Build
  • Identify a critical pipeline and visualize-- RCA ineffiencies in pipelines and build a plan to address
  • Take personal career goals and map onto Roles & Expectations
  • Work with QA to define bug workflows and processAlign with QA on how to create, maintain, and have visibility on a test schedule that is compatible with team feature & content delivery

 

What can you expect from your first 90 days?

Driving Team Improvement - Measure

  • Set up Delivery KPIs with the Development Director and define what success looks like this month-- Come up with a way to regularly report delivery health to team & show them where they are on or off track
  • Develop a system by which to view, measure, and address "Blocked" team work Develop a system by which you can answer the question "are we on track to deliver by X deadline" at any point within a Release

About The Company

Klang is an independent game development studio based in Berlin. It was founded by three Icelanders in the spring of 2013.


In July 2015, Klang launched its first project, ReRunners: Race for the World, for iOS and Android devices, which was extremely well-received by both the gaming press and the gaming community.


Now, Klang is working on its next project, Seed, a simulation MMO utilizing SpatialOS technology.
