As a Senior Game Designer in our Features area, you will be at the forefront of defining what makes our game unique and exciting for players. Your focus will be on creating and iterating on meaningful and motivating experiences outside the core gameplay loop. You will balance gameplay features with meta layers that bring depth and connection, ensuring players feel a strong sense of progression, reward, and community within the game. This is a fantastic opportunity to have a direct impact on our product roadmap and help shape the future of Farm Heroes Saga.
Key Responsibilities:
Design engaging features and meta systems: Create systems that enhance player progression, reward meaningful engagement, and provide long-term motivation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with product managers, developers, and analysts to align designs with player needs and business goals.
Iterate based on player feedback and data: Use analytics and player insights to refine designs and ensure they resonate with the target audience.
Champion creativity and innovation: Explore new ideas and trends in the gaming industry to keep our game fresh and competitive.
Document and communicate designs effectively: Provide clear and detailed documentation to guide development and ensure alignment across teams.
You are a passionate problem solver and have the ability to draw data driven business insights that will add real value to King. You are proactive and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast paced and collaborative environment whilst communicating effectively with teams and individuals across King.
Key skills required include
Proven experience as a senior game designer, with a focus on designing features and meta systems for mobile games or other consumer-facing products.
A deep understanding of player motivations and behaviors, with the ability to translate these insights into engaging designs.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform and iterate on design decisions.
Proficiency in creating detailed design documentation, wireframes, and user flows.
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Passion for gaming and a strong knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
