We’re looking to hire a Print Services Supervisor (Contract) for our client is who is professional services company that provides accounting, consulting, and tax services.
You’ll join the Creative Management Team to supervise the operations of our client's print work and 6 team members (4 in NY and 2 in LA). This is a 3 month opportunity. The role is located in New York City and is fully onsite.
Responsibilities:
- This role manages daily operations, provides productivity feedback to the Creative Manager, and conducts daily status meetings with Team Members to discuss assignments, job status.
- You will identify gaps, lead initiatives for process improvements, and be responsible for quality assurance and consistency of output.
- Supervise workflow for the Print Services Team, assess, plan, and assign print requests to internal and external print vendors.
- Evaluate workload capacity, outsource print work and effectively manage print vendor relationships.
- Provide status updates to Creative Manager on staffing, work volume, overtime, supplies, equipment issues and repair costs.
- Trouble shoot print equipment, place service calls, obtain cost estimates/invoices, and follow through to resolution.
- Manage all phases of project management, including customer service, production, documentation, and delivery.
Requirements:
- (6) years of print experience, handling high-profile, complex print projects, leading teams, troubleshooting print devices, and managing vendor relationships.
- (2) + years of supervisory experience is beneficial.
- Knowledge of reprographic equipment and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and InDesign.
- Strong leadership skills, conflict resolution, negotiation, influencing and persuasion abilities.
- Knowledge of creative industry practices, digital and print trends, innovation, and technology, including working with creative designers.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
